Young Player Award

GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Chivas midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro was selected Wednesday as recipient of the Scotiabank Best Young Player Award as the 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League’s best young player.

The 24-year-old played in eight games, six as a starter, scoring one goal and registering five assists.

Pizarro scored the Guadalajara club’s first goal in the 2-1 victory at Toronto FC in the final first leg, before assisting Orbelin Pineda on the lone Chivas goal in the 2-1 second leg defeat.
