MOREIRA DE CONEGOS, Portugal – Costa Rica international David Ramirez was presented Wednesday among a group of the newest additions to Portuguese Primeira Liga side Moreirense.

The 23-year-old forward, whose loan lasts for one year with an option to purchase, spent the previous year with Saprissa, scoring seven goals in 33 Costa Rican league outings. He also netted once in three Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League matches.

Prior to rejoining Saprissa – with which he originally competed from 2013-15 -- Ramirez suited up for France’s Evian from January-May 2015.

With Costa Rica, Ramirez has won a Central American Cup title (2014; 3 games, 0 goals) and played in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup (3 games, 1 goal).
